LAND MOBILE PRODUCT SECTOR PSB # 817 SUBJECT : QUANTAR INTELLIREPEATER FLASH DOWNLOADS FROM A
CENTRAL LOCATION MODELS AFFECTED : T5365A with X990 or X998 or X999 options SYSTEMS AFFECTED : SMARTZONE WITH REMOTE INTELLIREPEATER SITES ISSUE : Pin out that is required to make an adapter to interface the Smartzone Manager to the Zone Controller RESOLUTION : When downloading software from a central location to a remote Intellirepeater site, the user is required to disconnect the site link from the Zone Controller and connect it to a PC or the Smartzone Manager. This requires the use of a custom cable, specifically an 8 pin modular jack (RJ 45) to DB9 female. This cable is customer supplied and is not available from Motorola. The connections required for the cable are as follows: DB9 female RJ45 Note: No reference to warranty is implied or intended. |
