FASMA Coordination Policy

This is a draft, it is not to be used

Introduction

It is the goal of FASMA to coordinate repeaters and other fixed station spectrum users with as little interference as possible FASMA strives to provide solutions for the majority of all users of spectrum; however we cannot cover every case. Such corner cases will be handled as the coordination committee sees fit using good engineering practice. Ideally over time a consistent method will develop which can be made into a formal coordination policy.

The majority of the coordination policy is designed to cover repeater operation in the VHF and UHF spectrum in Florida.

Requirements for Coordination Holders

Entity requirements

Standards for Coordination

Standards here are for coordination of repeaters.

Equipment standards

Coordination policy only works if a minimum standard of equipment exists. The following standards are used for the minimum performance of amateur equipment in coordinated service.

Repeater/Base Standards

=== Mobile/HT/Client Standards.
